Cross Lake Swims

Session: 45 - 60 minutes

Minimum age: 12 years old (must be with an adult)

This is an achievable and hugely rewarding swimming challenge, open to individuals or groups of three.

Special USP Cross Lake Swim medal for everyone completing the cross lake swim. 

Swimmers will be taken across to the Southern shore of Ullswater on our swimmer friendly RIB boat and guided safely back to the jettey at Another Place – The Lake.  The support boat will be next to you the whole swim, guiding you across Ullswater (friends/family can accompany you on the boat to offer support and take photos).  

Two options are available depending on experience:

• 800 metres linear swim. This is a great option for to experience the thrill of swimming point to point and be left with a great sense of achievement having swum from shore to shore.
  
• 1 mile linear swim. More experienced open water swimmers may be interested in a longer linear swim from Sharrow Bay back to Another Place – The Lake.
